Lions Club – Belman felicitates Centurion traditional medicinal practitioner Appy Nandlike

Karkala, 02 Mar 2016: It’s our duty to preserve the legacy of traditional medicines and foster such practitioners, said Lions Club International (LCI) district governor Sridar Shenava.
Shenava was speaking after felicitating centurion traditional medicinal practitioner Appy Nandalike during his official visits to LCI – Belman, at Vygrachamundeshwari temple, Kaiyarla, near here on Tuesday March 1.
LCI that is at the threshold of celebrating its centenary jubilee, felicitating the centurion traditional medicinal practitioner Appy Nandalike is truly significant, because such achievers set an example to the society, added Shenava.
LCI – Belman president Vishwanat Patkar, Gregory Menezes, B Sitaram Bhat, Mukund Kamat, Ramachandra Kamat, Shyam Sundar, Faustine, Nagesh Billawa, Shivaram Shetty Tallur, Kiran Chowta, Chaitra Kiran Chowta and others were present.
V K Rao Nandalike introduced the dignitaries. The secretary Raghunat Nayak proposed vote of thanks. M N Hegde compered the programme.
