Mangaluru: Teaching aids distributed to specially-abled children at Gandhi Nagar

Mangaluru, 12 Jan 2016: At the joint aegis of public instructions department, Sarva Shikshana Abhiyan, office of the block education officer, block resources centre – Mangaluru north zone and Lions/Kei Club, Netravati, Mangaluru, organized the distribution programme of home-based teaching aids to specially-abled children at BRC, Gandhi Nagar, here on Sunday January 10.

 

 

The deputy director of public instructions Walter D’Mello distributed the necessary teaching aids to specially-abled children and said, ‘It’s an effort to bring the less-fortunate children to the mainstream of society.’ 

 

Lions/Leo Club president Mandakini, Sarva Shikshana Abhiyan deputy project co-ordinator Geeta, BRPs Vijayalaxmi, Geetha and Vasant Palan, CRP special teacher Jyoti, Sasikala and others were present. 

 

Mangaluru north zone education officer Rajalaxmi welcomed the gathering.
