Toy mobile phone explodes, 10-year-old injured

Punjalkatte, 24 Dec 2015: In shocking incident that took place here, a 10-year-old boy was injured when a battery operated toy mobile exploded.

 

The victim, son of Giriyappa is a fourth standard student.

 

It is reported that the boy after returning from school was playing with his toy mobile phone and it suddenly exploded injuring the boy’s hands and face.

 

He was rushed to Belthangadi hospital for first aid and later shifted to Wenlok Hospital Mangaluru for further treatment.

 

The toy mobile was purchased at Ballamanja car festival.
