Beltangady, 13 Aug 2015: The moral science books indeed inspire one to lead righteous living. One is influenced by the books to carve a better future. Reading good books shapes better personality, said Corporation Bank chairman and managing director S R Bansal.
Bansal was speaking after releasing moral science books for primary and high school published by Shantivana Trust under Yoga and moral science project, at Dharmasthala, here on Wednesday August 12.
One should live meaningful life between the cradles to grave. The children will have to become future cultured citizens to lead transparent lives, advised Bansal.
Girimane Shyam Rao, litterateur from Sakleshpur aid life is worth lived if one applies knowledge along with science. One got to read to enhance knowledge at the time when people sans common sense, said Shyam.
Sri Kshetra Dharmasthala Dharmadhikari D Veerendra Heggade in his presidential address advised the students to be harbinger of cultured living. One got to face the challenges of life with confidence to lead dignified living, advised Heggade.
Heggade further said the moral science books will be distributed to the schools in Udupi, Dakshina Kannada, Uttara Kannada and Chikmagalur districts.
Shantivana Trust already published 38 moral books, while its 18,89,400 copies distributed to the students.
The public instructions superintendent Radhakrishna Bhat, D Harshendra Kumar, Supriya Harshendra Kumar and Shradda Amit were present.
