Karkal: Lions Schl, Saccheripete, Mundkoor Schl bag championship in Pry Schl Kabaddi

Karkal, 12 Aug 2015: The early studies lays foundation for future life, said ZP member Kedinje Supreet Shetty.

 

Supreet was speaking after inaugurating Belman circle level boys and girls Kabaddi tournament held at Dr Nitte Shankar Adyantaya Memorial Aided Higher Primary School, Kodi – Bola, near here on Tuesday August 11.

 

The national award recipient retired teacher Laxmikant Bhat presided the programme.

 

The public instructs department BRC head Jayanti Shetty, Belman – Mundkoor cluster CRP Chandrakant D’Sa, Karkal taluk aided higher primary school teachers Association president V K Rao Nandalike, government school teachers Association vice president Bola Satish Shetty, taluk physical teachers Association vice president Pushparaj, Bola – Kodi alumni Association president Maraguttu Subash Shetty, SDMC president Manohar, retired head teacher Vimala and others were present.

 

 

The headmaster A R Lakkonda welcomed the gathering. Katyayini proposed vote of thanks. Sanoor – Muddana Nagara School headmaster Saccheripete Sudhir Nayak compered the programme.

 

Karkal tlauk physical education officer Babu Poojary presided the valedictory function. 

 

Saccheripete Sharat Shetty, Vidhyashekar Shetty, P T instructor Sadashiv Rai, village elders Narsu Moily, Sridar Shetty, Devasya, Punjalkatte School headmaster Jagdish Scharya were present during the inaugural.  

 

Lions School, Saccheripete bagged the first place and Bola – Kodi School bagged the second place among 10 teams of boys.

 

Mundkoor Government Model Higher Primary School bagged the first place and Bola – Kodi School bagged the second place among 7 teams of girls.

 

Vidya of Mundkoor was adjudged top rider, Jeeviksha of Kodi – the top catcher and Harinakshi of Mundkoor got overall championship in girls division.

 

Vishal of Lions Club – Saccheripete was adjudged top rider, Sudeep of same school top catcher and Divit of Bola – Kodi got overall championship.
