Mangaluru, 29 Jul 2015: Eid celebrations fosters communities bond in society. It also educates the people of different faith to understand the significance of Eid celebration, said state minister U T Khader.
The minister Khader was speaking after inaugurating Eid Get-together among people of different faith at Unity Hall, Tokkottu, here recently. It was organized by Jamat-e-Islam Hind, Ullal.
One should live and let others live – should be the goal of people in the society, said minister Khader. The peaceful co-existence among the people of different faith in the society would discourage evil forces to break the unity. The religion and caste does not matter when one goes to a doctor for medication, because everyone has same color of blood that is red, said minister Khader.
Sakib Hassan read the verses form Holy Quran. Sarafuddin delivered the Eid message.
Dr Rajesh Shetty, Dr Z K Misri, Prasad Rai Kallimar, Joslyn D’Souza, Abdul Salam, Usman Kallapu, Sadanand Bangera, social activist Mohammed Razak, A H Mahmood and others were present.
Karavali College lecturer Mohammed Mubin welcomed the gathering. Muzammil Ahmed proposed vote of thanks.
