Memorial service for AI victims

MANGALORE, 22 July 2010: Air India has organized an All-Religion Memorial Service in memory of those who perished in the Air India Express flight IX-812 on May 22 at Mangalore. The service will be held at the T M A Pai International Convention Hall, M G Road on July 27, at 10 am.
M M Nambiar, secretary, ministry of civil aviation and Arvind Jadhav, chairman and managing director, Air India, will be present on the occasion. A release from Air India stated that special transport arrangements have been made to pick up and drop relatives from Bhatkal, Kasargod and Udupi.
The transport will start from Bhatkal at 6 am from Shamsuddin Circle (near Srinivasa Restaurant), at 8 am from Kasaragod, near Karandakad Petrol Pump and also at the same time from Diana Circle at Udupi.
Air India has also provided helpline numbers in Mangalore 0824 2452306 / 2452307 / 2452308 for assistance to the relatives and has requested all family members, friends and well-wishers of the deceased to join in the prayers at the venue.
