Students from Udupi shine in CET results

 

Udupi, 01 Jun 2015: After the successful SSLC and Pre University results, the coastal town Udupi has gained five ranks among the top ten ranks in the State in CET examinations.

 

Student of Poornaprajna Pre-University College - Sudeep G.C. has bagged three ranks. While he secured eighth rank in Medicine and Bachelor of Veterinary Sciences, he also bagged sixth rank in Indian System of Medicines and Homeopathy (ISHM).

 

Shishir G. of Viveka PU College, Kota, has bagged the sixth rank in Engineering, while Anjali Venugopal from Karkala Jnansudha PU College, Kukkundoor, has got the fourth rank in Architecture.

 

The exam was held across the State in 343 exam centres on May 12 and 13. As many as 1,57,580 candidates appeared for the exam. Of these, 1,15,803 appeared for Biology, 1,48,177 for Mathematics, 1,53,576 for Physics and 1,53,556 for Chemistry.

 

Thus the achievement of these students has made the education town proud.
