Bantwal: Kanachur Hospital & Research Center organizes free health camp at Addoor

Bantwal, 12 May 2015: Doctors main objective should be providing better health facility to people of all sections. In order to reach this objective, organizing free health camp at remote areas is very essential, said Haji U K Monu, chairman of Kanachur Hospital and Research Center, Deralakatte, here.
Haji Monu was speaking after inaugurating free health checkup camp at Addoor near here on Sunday May 10. It was organized in memory of philanthropist Haji A K Shekabba Addoor who passed away a few months ago.
Speaking on the facilities available at the Kanachur Hospital, Haji Monu said that Kanachur Hospital will strive to the core to reach needy people, so that people can live healthy life at minimum cost.
T Sayyed, chairman of Badriya Juma masjid, Adoor said that initiate taken by Kanachur Hospital of conducting free camp at interior place should be taken as model by other hospital, so that more and more people can be treated at free of cost.
Speaking on the worldclass facility available at the hospital, Dr Gopal Achar of department of surgery said that hospital is providing consultation, food, registration and bed at free of cost. He emphasized the people to register for Arogya Card which provides medicine and diagnosis at discount rate. He also said that Hospital services will be available for 24 hours.
Kanachur Hospital and Research Centre dean Dr Khaja Naseeruddeen, medical superintendent Dr Devi Prasad, finance and administration director Abdul Rehman, Dr Nasir Hussein of department of OBG, Addoor – Rifa Polyclinic Dr E K Siddiq, Kanjilakodi – Badrul Huda Juma masjid chairman Hassan Nooyi, Addoor – K A Enterprises proprietor Haji Haneef A K were present.
During the camp more than 250 patients were given free health checkup and free medicines.
