Udupi: BCA student of St Mary’s College, Shirva develops Teachers’ Evaluation software

Udupi, 11 Apr 2015: The software that was developed by Jackson Joseph, BCA student of St Mary’s College, Shirva, near here was released during a function held at the College auditorium, here on Friday April 10.
The private colleges governing councils Association secretary Professor Bhaskar Shetty after releasing the software, said that BCA students has ample job opportunities. Meanwhile, if the students develop the software in different spheres of trade and commerce, it would lead to simplicity and faster growth, said Professor Shetty. He also congratulated Jackshon in developing the software for teachers’ evaluation.
Jackson demonstrated the practical aspect of software to the gathering.
III BCA student Priya R presented the annual report of IT union of their College. III BCA students Roland Rakesh Salian, Prajwal Acharya, Ashwini Icinta D’Souza, Cynthia Fernandes and Jackson Joseph explained how they were selected by WIPRO and RoboSoft during campus recruitment.
The College correspondent Fr Stany Tauro conveyed best wishes for BCA students in their future endeavors. The College principal Professor Rajan V N distributed prizes to the winners of inter-collegiate competitions on IT.
BCA head of department Assistant Professor K Praveen Kumar announced cash prizes to students who secured highest marks, while Fr Tauro distributed the same.
IT Union director was present. Deeksha Kamat welcomed the gathering. Vaishali Shetty proposed vote of thanks. Sushmita Bhat compered the programme.
