Mumbai: H B L Rao (80) to be conferred with Kalkura Prashasti on Apr 5

Mumbai, 03 Apr 2015: The eighty-year-old H B L Rao, president of Kannada Sahitya Parishat – Maharashtra, former president of BSKBA, will be conferred with Kalkura Prashasti in recognition of his six-decades of service to Kannada and its distinct culture, Yakshagana etc.

 

 

The award will be conferred to H B L Rao by Kannada veteran litterateur Dr Vyasa Rao Ninjoor, during Kannada Sahitya Sammelan at Matunga, here on Sunday April 5, stated the media release issued by Kalkura Pratistan chairman S Pradeep Kumar Kalkura.
