Indian culture to find divinity in God’s creation – Vedavyasa

Karkal, 15 Feb 2015: The nature has divinity in everything that we see, while our ancestors have explored that living force by worshiping for the betterment of society. The banyan tree, Tulsi and hundreds of medicinal plants are lifesaving that will lead to divine force that is the Creator. Indian culture is unique to find divinity in everything, said Vedamurti Vedavyasa Ithal, chief priest of Ananteshwar temple, Udupi.
Vedamurti Ithal was delivering religious discourse during fifth annual Shanishwar puja that was organized by Sri Durga Ganesh Bhakta Vrunda, Peralpady, Padubelman at Ashwattakatte, here recently.
Sri Durga Ganesh Bhakta Vrunda president Devendra Shetty presided the programme.
Nandalike Chavadi Aramane N Suhas Hegde was the chief guest called on mothers to culturally up bring their children.
The senior teacher B Pundalika Marate said that the native culture, mother tongue, family relations, patriotism is declining owing to modern education and craze for wealth. He appealed the parents not to pamper their children, instead up bring them culturally, to lead responsible life ahead in life and to become national wealth and humanity.
The priest Narayan Bhat, Madkumane Raghuveer Rao, entrepreneur S K Salian, Gregory Menezes, Suryakant Shetty, PHC medical officer Dr Satish, gram panchayat member Prabhakar Shetty, Sasidar Shetty, Prashant Shetty, Satish Mada, Manjunat Acharya, Jaya Shetty, Kaup Leeladar Shetty were present at the dais.
Asha Devendra Shetty welcomed the gathering. Reshma Devadiga proposed vote of thanks. Ganapati Acharya and Sunil Devadiga compered the programme.
Vedic rites were held at the leadership of Narayan Bhat, priest of Padubelman.
Free food was offered to the devotees on the occasion.
Kuteera, Tulu comedy play was staged by the artistes of Rangataranga, Kaup in Udupi district.
