Udupi: Cow is divine bcoz it sustains good health – Swami Vishwaprasanna

Udupi, 12 Jan 2015: ‘Our day begins and ends with cow. The early morning tea and drinking milk before going to bed is part of our daily living. Cow is holy because its urine, cow-dung everything is useful to humans,’ said Swami Vishwaprasanna of Pejavar mutt.
Swami Vishwaprasanna was speaking after inaugurating Ghow Puja that was organized by Guru Madwa Bhajan Mandali, Madwa Colony, Padubelle, near here on Sunday January 11.
Swami Vishwaprasanna urged the people to join in reviving Indian culture that is threatening agrarian society and dwindling of livestock.
Samskara Bharati Udupi district convener Kamballi Vasudev Rao said that all the innovations in the world cannot satiate hunger. The farming can sustain food for survival. The contemporary Indian culture can guarantee food security.
Sadambail Bhaskar Shetty presided the religious programme that was held in association with VHP, Padubelle, near here.
Vedamurti Madwaraj Bhat delivered the introductory address. VHP president Vishwanat Shetty welcomed the gathering. Girija Samaga and Laxmi Shetty rendered the prayers. Belle Doddamane Ajit Shetty compered the programme. Bhajan Mandali secretary Deepa proposed vote of thanks.
