Bandh begins with violence. Buses, Shops attacked

Mangaluru: Nov 08, 2014: The sangh parivar activists on Monday were forcefully imposing bandh in Kaikamba, Gurupura, Vamanjoor, Ulaibettu and other areas of Mangaluru Taluk amidst prohibitory orders.
The bangh call was given by Vishwa Hindu Parishadm Bajrang Dal Ram Sene and other outfits of Sangh Parivar following last week’s communal clashes in Ulaibettu and Vamanjoor Villages.
The Mangalore Police have imposed prohibotory orders in a violent areas of the taluk under section 144 from 6 am to 6 pm. Security has been tightened and additional police forces have been deployed in sensitive areas.
The right wing miscreants have continued their violent activities in the region. The vehicle shops belonging to minority community were attacked with stones in the intervening night of Sunday and Monday.
The miscreants also tried to set a bakery on fire at Kaikamba and also pelted stones at a stationary bus belonging to Fathima Travels at Bajpe.
The forceful band in Bajpe, Gurpur Edapadavu, Kaikama, Vamanjoor, Neermarga, Yekkar and Kateel Villages has affection surrounding places too.
