Kundapur: Native Alwyn D’Souza (48) employed in Saudi Arabia dies in tragic fall

Kundapur, Oct 06, 2014: Alwyn D’Souza, a resident of Chikansal Road, here who was working in Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (KSA) passed away when he collapsed at the office in a state of giddiness at the Kingdom’s capital city of Riyadh on Sunday October 5. He had a major head injury in the fall and was rushed to the hospital where the surgeons tried to save him in vain.
The forty-eight-year-old Alwyn was employed in transport department of J & P Construction involved in building airports and building bridges in KSA, since the past 24 years.
Alwyn returned to KSA after two-month’s vacation in India on November 02, 2013 and was due to come to India, but tragedy struck, informed the family sources.
Alwyn was originally from Uppinakote in Brahmavar and settled in Kundapur town since a few years ago.
He is survived by his wife and a daughter.
