Bantwal: First Farmers Contact Center to come up in B C Road

Bantwal, 20 Jul 2014: The state forests and Dakshina Kannada district-in-charge minister Ramanat Rai laid foundation for building Farmers’ Contact Center at nearby the office of agricultural department, B C Road, here on Saturday July 19.
The minister Rai said that Karnataka Rural Infrastructure Development Limited (KRDL) will construct the building @ Rs 35 lac. Two Farmers’ Contact Center are sanctioned for Bantwal taluk in Dakshina Kannada district, the above being the first one, while the second one will be constructed at Kokkada, near here, said minister Rai.
KRDL executive engineer Sheshadri, Nagarajayya, farmers’ fraternity leader Ashok Kumar Barimar, Bantwal taluk panchayat former president Padmanabha Rai, taluk panchayat steering Committee president Sampat Kumar Shetty, taluk panchayat member Padmashekar Jain, zilla panchayat member M S Mohammed, legalization of illegal land Committee president Mayilappa Salian, Congress leader Pius Rodrigues and others were present on the occasion.
