Udupi: Foundation laid for new building block of Veterinary Clinic at Shirva

Udupi, 19 Jul 2014: The state urban development and Udupi district-in-charge minister Vinay Kumar Sorake laid the foundation for constructing new block at veterinary clinic which was approved under union ministry of veterinary clinic expansion programme, at Shirva, near here on Saturday July 19. The veterinary clinic will be developed @ Rs 15 LAC.
Speaking on the occasion, the minister Sorake assured of releasing furthermore Rs 5 lac within 3 months in developing the above mentioned veterinary clinic.
ZP member Ida Gilbert D’Souza, Shirva gram panchayat president Hasanabba Shaikh, TP member Krishna Poojary, gram panchayat vice president Deepika Shalet, animal husbandry assistant director Dr S Mohan, Karnataka rural basic infrastructure development engineer Prabhakar, Hemant, former gram panchayat president Ignatius D’Souza, K Dinesh Suvarna, Kaup block women Congress president Geeta Wagle, advocate Wilson Rodrigues, Kaup block youth Congress secretary Melvyn D’Souza, Rehmatulla Abdul Khader, the villagers of Kutyar, Kalattoor and Shirva were present on the occasion.
Shirva – Vishnumurti temple priest Srinivas Bhat performed the religious rites at the construction site.
Shirva – veterinary clinic medical officer Dr Arun Hegde welcomed the gathering. Shirva gram panchayat development officer Pilarkana Sundar Prabhu proposed vote of thanks.
