Police recover stolen Tipper truck; arrest accused at Gate

Bantwal, Jul 15, 2014 : The policemen led by city circle inspector recovered a tipper truck that was stolen recently from Mittanadka that comes under the limits of Karopady, near here on Monday July 14.   The police also arrested a certain fifty-year-old Hassanabba yane Kunhi, resident of Bibi Alabi Road, Mangalore.

 

The truck that was owned by Nurul Mubeen, a resident of K C Road at the limits of Karopady village, near here was parked at nearby his house on May 25.  Meanwhile, on Friday July 11, Mubeen lodged a complaint with Vittal police station that his truck was stolen, while the police registered a FIR on Sunday July 13.

 

 

Bantwal circle inspector Belliappa, Vittal sub-inspector Raghavendra T R and policemen located the truck parked at Bantwal Old Gate on Monday July 14, and seized the truck and also arrested the accused Hassanabba yane Kunhimonu.  The police presented the accused Hassanabba before the judge here on Monday. 

 

The police are on the hunt to trace 3 more accomplices of Hassanabba in this regard.
