Steep curves on Belman–Jantra Road cause mishaps

Karkal, Jul 9, 2014 : The road mishaps are common on the steep turn at Madkumane cross road between Belman and Vitoba Bhajan Mandir, on Belman – Shirva – Katpady main road.  The traffic bottlenecks are also very common. 

 

The two-wheeler riders are the worst affected besides the motorists while driving on steep curves. 

 

 

The public works department (PWD) and local gram panchayat ought to take early actions on widening the road, in order to put an end to mishaps and loss of life.
