Puja offered to appease rain gods at Kudroli Temple

Mangalore, Jul 8, 2014 : The special puja were offered to temple deity Lord Gokarnanateshwar, Kudroli, here on Monday July 7, seeking rain gods to shower abundant rains across the nation.  

 

Speaking to media persons, the temple development Committee trustee Maheschandra, expressed his deep concern over the poor monsoon this year so far.

 

Maheschandra said, ‘This year we are facing the scarcity of rain. We are offering puja at the temple to appease rain gods to shower abundant rains and save us form imminent drought and famine.

 

 

The Kudroli temple development Committee president H R Sairam, treasurer Padmaraj Bhat, Congress leader Harikrishna Bantwal, Dr B G Suvarna and others were present on the occasion.

 

The free offering of food to devotees was held on the same occasion.
