Karkal: Belman residents spend nights without lights, allege apathy of Mescom

Karkal, Jun 28, 2014 : The residents of Belman, near here are distressed over total disruption of electricity supply since the past 20 days and allege apathy of public utility provider Mescom in resolving their issue. 

 

Mescom had installed an electricity transformer at Shantalke in Belman village near here which was a boon to farmers to undertake farming activities.  In spite of this transformer has gone out of order since nearly 1 month, Mescom officials are unconcerned of their duties to restore it for regular supply. 

 

 

Over 40 households in Bola village are spending nights without electricity since the past 20 days as the transformer has gone out of order. Meanwhile, Mescom officials are citing all sorts of excuses from lack of linemen, driver etc to restore the power supply.

 

The locals urge Mescom to restore the power supply at the earliest and caution of staging stir in front of Mescom office if their demands are not met at the earliest.
