Bantwal: Malaika Group forays into Building Enterprise; Foundation laid for Malaika Genesis

Bantwal, Jun 16, 2014 : Mumbai-based Malaika Group that is a household name with several showrooms of home appliances and also retail outlets in Mangalore and Bantwal, entered into the foray of building enterprise in homeland Bantwal taluk.  

 

The foundation was laid to construct Malaika Genesis on a site located on Infant Jesus parish, Modankap that comes at the limits of B Mooda gram panchayat of Bantwal town council. 

 

Modankap parish priest Fr Maxim Noronha laid the foundation stone for building Malaika Genesis here on Sunday June 15 morning.

 

 

Bantwal Bar Association president and legal advisor advocate Menala Ashwanikumar Rai, architect Francis D’Cunha, Sr Maria Kripa, entrepreneur and social activist Leo Fernandes, Nonayya Poojary, Gretta D’Souza, teacher Leena Tauro, Evelyn Toras, Ivan Tauro and others were present on the occasion.

 

Malaika Group chairman and managing director Gilbert Baptist welcomed the gathering.  The director Maceline G Baptist presented floral bouquet to Fr Maxim.  Malaika Group senior manager Felix Veigas Modankap compered the programme.
