Udupi: Sunday Catechism Classes inaugurated in St. Lawrence Church Belle

Udupi/M’belle, 09 Jun 2014: Following the end of the summer vacation and reopening of the schools, the Sunday Catechism Classes were inaugurated in St. St. Lawrence Church, Moodubelle on Sunday, 8 June 2014 during the children’s mass at 10 am.

 

 

Rev. Fr. Joswey Fernandes, parish priest  along with  Fr. Roshan D’Souza-assitant parish priest, Mrs. Shanti Alva-coordinator of Sunday Catechism Classes, Mrs. Emilia Noronha-secretary of the parish pastoral council and teachers of the Sunday Catechism classes and two students of the first standard formally inaugurated the Sunday Catechism Classes by lighting the lamp soon after the entrance hymn.

 

The theme of this academic year’s Catechism Classes is “Christian Catechism is the protector of Christian families.”
