Udupi: Ananda Teerta Vidyalaya inaugurated at Pajaka - Kunjarugiri

Udupi, 4 Jun 2014 : ‘The need of the hour is to impart quality education in languages, technology, ideology and Sanskrit. Meanwhile, Ananda Teerta Vidyalaya has been established with all facilities in order to impart such studies. We aim to make this institution an ideal institute,’ said Swami Vishwesha of Pejavar mutt.
Swami Vishwesha was speaking after inaugurating the newly-established Ananda Teerta Vidyalaya with CBSE curriculum being run by Pajaka Pratistan of Pejavar mutt at nearby Pajaka temple, near Kunjarugiri here on Tuesday June 3.
The junior Swami Vishwaprasanna of Pejavar mutt said that as the monsoon arrive seeds sprout and plants emerge, likewise the students are overjoyed during reopening. Ananda Teerta Vidyalaya will give good start to the new generation of students by quality education, said Swami Vishwaprasanna.
Speaking on the occasion, the state urban and Udupi district-in-charge minister Vinay Kumar Sorake conveyed best wishes to Pejavar mutt in their quest to promote education, social welfare activities.
Kannada Sahitya Parishat former president and religious leader Harikrishna Punaroor presided the programme.
Indian Overseas Bank Mangalore regional manager Sudhakar, NIT-K retired dean Dr B R Samaga, Kurkalu gram panchayat president Bhuvanesh Poojary were the chief guests present.
Pajaka Pratistan vice president Nagaraj Ballal welcomed the gathering. The vice president V R Samaga proposed vote of thanks. Kunjarugiri Higher Primary School headmaster Sudhakar Shetty compered the programme.
