Puttur: Special pooja for Modi’s success

 

Puttur, 20 May 2014: A special pooja, Ekadasha Shatarudra Seve and mass feeding (Anna Santarpane) was arranged at Puttur Sri Mahelingeshwara Temple on Tuesday, May 20 for the success of BJP’s PM designate Narendra Modi.

 

Thousands of Modi fans and BJP members of Puttur participated in the religious programme. The devotees also prayed for India’s development during Modi’s tenure.

 

Chanila Thimappa Shetty, president of BJP election publicity committee and president of managing committee of Balnadu Sri Dandanayaka Ullalti Daivasthana, Jeevandhar Jain, vice-president, city council, Bhami Ashok Shenoy, S. Appaiah Maniyani, Rajesh Bannuru, Chandrashekhar Rao Bappalige, Arun Kumar Puttila of NaMo Bharath and other Modi fans prayed by lighting the ghee lamp.
