M’lore: 4 boys meet watery grave in Koorikatta

Mangalore, 16 May 2014: Four boys died after they drowned in water they had ventured at Koorikatta in Baikampady on Friday, May 16. The deceased were identified as Girish (7), Naveen (8), Nilesh and Chidanand (9). Another boy identified as Manjunath who was along with them survived.

 

Though local fishermen rushed to rescue the boys they failed in saving the four children.

 

All the boys were students of Baikampady Government School. Their parents were migrant workers from North Karnataka.
