Voters’ Awareness Programme held at Belman School

Karkal, 18 Mar 2014 : Rotary Club International (RCI) – Belman, in association with chief electioneering officer, Udupi district administration and public instructions department organized a programme on active participation of all to strengthen democracy at St Joseph’s Higher Primary School, Belman, near here on Monday March 17.
RCI – Belman secretary Vignesh Shenoy administered voter’s oath to the students on the occasion.
The senior teacher Pundalika Marate in his introductory address, said that it’s the right of every sensible citizen to cast their vote in the forthcoming Lok Sabha elections on Thursday April 17.
RCI commandant Sunil Devadiga urged the sensible citizens to actively involve in nation building.
St Joseph’s Higher Primary School head teacher Sr Monica presided the progreamme.
RCI community service director, Alwyn N Pinto was present at the dais.
RCI members Jitesh Kanchan, senior teacher Juliana Moras, Vincent Pinto, Sr Usha Stella, Lilly D’Souza, Divya and Lavina Pinto were also present.
