Mangalore: Stany Alvares unanimously elected as Prez of Konkani Prachar Sanchalan

Mangalore, Mar 5, 2014 : Stany Alvares, Konkani activist was unanimously elected as new president of Konkani Prachar Sanchalan ®, during the executive Committee meeting held at Kalaangann, Shaktinagar, here on Tuesday February 4.

Stany Alvares will takes over the charge as president of Konkani Prachar Sanchalan, since its president Roy Castelino was appointed as president of Karnataka Konkani Sahitya Academy by state administration.

 
Stany has been Konkani crusader since the past 25 years.  He is also ace comperer, served as president of Mandd Sobhann for two terms.  He is also vice president of Dakshina Kannada district Congress minority unit.  He is also active in religious and social spheres.
