Foundn stone laid for Belle Grama Panchayat Market Building

Udupi, 26 Feb 2014: The foundation stone for the Belle Grama Panchayat Market Building costing around 6.5 lakhs of rupees was laid on Wednesday, 26 February 2014 by the member of the udupi Zilla Panchayat member-Mrs. Ida Gibba D’Souza, Uudpi Taluk Panchayat member-Devdas Hebbar and Belle Grama Panchayat President-Rajendra Shetty.
The programme was attended by the Vice President of the Belle Grama Panchayat-Mrs. Jacinta D’Souza, former President of Belle Grama Panchayat-Sashidhar Wagle, members of the Belle Grama Panchayat-A.G. D’Souza, Harish shetty, Vikas Shetty and others including Lalitha, Shankar Devadiga, Mrs. Leena D’Almeida, Sylvester Mathias and contractor-Vishwa Prasad.
Out of the estimated cost of the building, 6.5 lakhs of rupees, 3 lakhs are from Udupi Zilla Panahayt, one lakh from Uudpi Taluk Panchayat and 2.5 lakhs from Belle Grama Panchayat.
Ankudru Road Concretization:
The concretization work of the Ankudru road is being undertaken with the help of the grant of 3.5 lakhs obtained by Mrs. Ida Gibba D’Souza, member of the Udupi Zilla Panchayat. The guddhali pooje was conducted on Wednesday, 26 February 2014.
