Mangalore: CM Siddaramaiah assures state funds for infrastructural devt of DK district

Mangalore, Feb 21, 2014 : A delegation led by the state forests and Dakshina Kannada (DK) district-in-charge minister B Ramanath Rai, state health and family welfare minister U T Khader, Mangalore south MLA J R Lobo, Mangalore north MLA Mohiudeen Bava, office bearers of DK district Congress Committee and all block Congress Committees, met CM Siddaramaiah at his home office, Bangalore on Thursday February 20, to urge the state administration in order to allocate special aid of Rs 5 crore each to 7 Vidhan Sabha constituencies of DK district, to undertake Pashim Vahini Project in the interests of farmers and general public, as the roads and bridges were damaged owing to flooding during the last monsoon.
CM Siddaramaiah offered assurances to allocate the necessary funds in the coming budget.
