Udupi, 7 Feb 2014 : BJP has taken the open challenge of Congress veteran leader Manishankar Iyer’s statement that a tea vendor is not worthy to become future PM of India.  Meanwhile, BJP has set up Modi tea stalls across the nation and began people’s movement in 300 different places to testify that Narendra Modi who was once a tea vendor is patriot, honest, efficient and visionary can also become a future PM, because in India every citizen and all professions have respect.  The nation should be ridden of dynastic rule by supporting Modi, said BJP Raita Morcha district president K Devdas Hebbar.

Hebbar was speaking during the public meeting that was organized by BJP Shirva Committee at nearby Shirva bus stand, near here on Thursday February 6 evening, by distributing tea to the gathering.

UPA  led central government is in chaos, involved in major scams, inefficiency in issuing Aadhaar Cards, LPG supply, while the youth community has determined to save the nation from misrule and to end Congress-free rule, said Hebbar.

Mahatma Gandhi picture in Congress banners

Mahatma Gandhi was not recognized in any party.  He is the father of nation.  Congress party has done sacrilege by printing Gandhi picture in their banners.  Gandhi will not be witness to corruption of Congress.  The reigning Gandhi family has no relation to Mahatma Gandhi, said Hebbar.  He urged Congress party to delete the picture of Gandhi in their recent banner, urged Hebbar.

Udupi district BJP past president Uday Kumar Shetty offered motion for collecting iron from common man for the proposed 182 meter high India’s iron man Sardar Patelon the banks of Narmada River by Narendra Modi.

Silly Mani Shankar Aiyer. How quickly he forgot his anger towards BJP leaders who called Sonia Gandhi a waitress in 2004. The fact is Modi and Sonia made ends meet in their tougher youthful days. The former came close to RSS bosses, and the latter got a prince as husband. Good plot for a best selling Chetan Bhagat novel.

That is an interesting observation: A tea vendor can become our PM. A few suggestions: 1. The Old Students Association of St. Lawrence College Belle could host a debate/workshop and seek answers to the query: why during Wadeyar s rule till 1947 or rule of Hyder-Tipu who stole the Wadeyar s throne briefly, did not throw up anyone of humble origin to rule? 2. Granted British were foreign rulers. We should not expect them to allow ordinary men to power. What prevented the local rulers, 550 of them, to let ordinary men and women to emerge as rulers? 3. Is it not because our freedom fighters led by Bapu delivered us from slavery not of British but also of the native rulers? 4. Is it not the post-independence government led by Nehru that guided the emergence of a Republic of India under a constitution framed under the leadership of B R Ambedkar who was a staunch opponent of Hindu Maha Sabha and Muslim League. 5. If it wasn t for the tolerant Constitution, could India hold together in a region where Muslim nations (Pakistan, Afghanistan, Bangladesh)and Hindu Nation (Nepal) are in turmoil. 6. Should the Constitution be weakened by dynasties on one hand, virulent politics on the other.
