Udupi: Vishwasadamane, Rescues Destitute Woman from City Streets

Udupi, Jan 24, 2014 : The authorities of Vishwasadamane, an orphanage rescued a mentally-ill destitute woman who was found wandering on the streets here on Thursday January 24.
 
 
The general public informed the city police about a mentally-ill destitute woman who was hungry and stinking found nearby Hotel Kidiyoor here.  The city police requested Vishwasadamane chief trustee Pastor Sunil John D’Souza to take her to their shelter home in order to rehabilitate.

 

 
Pastor D’Souza picked up the destitute woman who is about 30 to 35 years and does not speaks as she is mentally ill at the moment, while Pastor D’Souza expressed hope that she would recover her confidence to share her past and reunite with her kith and kin.
