Mumbai: Mangalorean Bruno Gomes is Promo of Standard Chartered Marathon Athletics

Mumbai, Jan 22, 2014 :  The Kannadigas’ who are settled in metro are active in almost every sphere and earned the name and fame by their unique qualities.  Among them is Bruno John Gomes (popularly known as Bruno Gomes) is the one who is an accomplished sports reporter of Mumbai Marathon Athletics for the past one-and-a-half-decade.  Standard Chartered Bank has been sponsoring the marathon for all these years.

 
Bruno Gomes is the son of John, a native of Bendore in Mangalore city.  Bruno was born and brought up in western suburb of Goregaon.  He is the professional in setting up of media centre to facilitate reporting during Mumbai marathon.

Bruno is well known sports journalist in media sphere of metro.  He is also serving as sports journalist and also in the editorial board of several English sports magazines.  He is in great demand in organizing marathon in other cities and towns across the nation.


 
Bruno has opened a media centre in the premises of Marathi Patrakartara Bhavan, here during the marathon held here on Sunday January 19.  Fifty overseas participants including several Tulu – Kannadigas participated in the marathon.  Bruno maintains low profile and readily helps in organizing media conference or in seeking any info.
