Udupi: Sri Narayan Guru High School, Padubelle was Brainchild of Late R S Belle

Udupi, 4 Jan, 2014 : Sri Narayana Guru Kannada Medium High School was the brain child of block education officer the late R S Belle, said the renowned civil contractor Bantakal Cyril Quadros who was the associate of R S Belle.

 

Cyril was the chief guest during twenty-third annual day celebration organized by Alma Mater of Sri Narayan Guru High School, Padubelle, near here on Thursday January 2.

 

 
 
Cyril explained the situation wherein Sri Narayan Guru Sevaq Trust, Bannanje took the leadership to revive the educatin institution, when the efforts of Pamboor parish priest Fr Paul, B Monis Bantakal, Belle Sadanand Shenoy, local philanthropists did not yielded any results.  He also commended the efforts of the late R J Matti, Jayashankar, Mohandas Bangera, Pandit S K Suvarna, Bola Poojary, selfless teachers and now managed by Billawar Association Mumbai ®.

All India Billawar Federation president Jaya C Suvarna said that Billawar Association Mumbai ® is a significant Association owns several large education institutions.  It has spent a chunk of money on the building block of Sri Narayan Guru Kannada Medium High School, Padubelle.  It always acknowledges the contributions of veterans who passed away, said Jaya Suvarna.

 
The comedian Sandhya Shenoy enthralled the gathering, what a woman can achieve by her expert talk.

Udupi taluk Jan Jagruti Vedike president Naveen Amin Shankarapura, the local Committee honorary secretary Shivaji Suvarna, gram panchayt member Harish Shetty Padubelle, the local Committee vice president Jayashankar, honorary chief secretary Jyoti K Suvarna, administrator Jinaraj C Salian, Alma Mater founder president Richard Danti, secretary Santosh Kulal, Madhusudan Rao were present.

The Alma Mater staged variety cultural shows, besides the artistes of Kaup – Ranga Taranga presented Tulu play ‘Dumbu Pira’ on the same occasion.
