Udupi: Moral Values makes one Complete Individual - Marate

Udupi, 29 Dec 2013: The maternal culture is the cradle of morality in Indian cultural hierarchy.  The mother and motherland is dear to heaven.  The spiritual awakening of contemporary sages and psalmists are personification of their true experiences.  The truth, honesty, devout, words and deeds, loving the environment makes an individual a complete human being, said the intellectual and journalist B Pundalika Marate Shirva.

Pundalika was delivering a talk on ‘human virtues’ during the special programme, community development that was jointly organized by Rajeev Gandhi University of Health Sciences – Bangalore, NSS unit and SDM Ayurveda College, Udyavar, at Dasa Bhavan, Innanje, near here on Friday December 27.

 

‘We come into this world to live a meaningful life and strive to make our name immemorial by worthy deeds.  It would be achieved by helping fellowmen, serving the poor, being patriotic and other good deeds,’ said Pundalika.

SDM Ayurveda College clinical department assistant Professor Dr Anirudd presided the programme.

NSS camp officer Dr Srikant was present.

Shruti introduced the dignitaries.  Sahana welcomed the gathering.  Bindia proposed vote of thanks.  Pratibha Sharma compered the programme.
