K’pur: Our Lady of Rosary Parish celebrate Altar Boys Day

Kundapur, Dec 02, 2013 : Our Lady of Rosary parish, here celebrated Altar Boys Day on Sunday December 1.

The parish priest and Kundapur deanery vicar Fr Anil D’Souza concelebrated the Eucharistic Celebration along with assistant parish priest St Mary’s Pre-University College principal Fr Praveen Amrut D’Souza on the occasion.

Fr Martis administered the oath to new altar boys and distributed scapular.

 

 

 

Fr Anil presided the stage programme after the Holy Mass.

Speaking on the occasion, Fr Anil explained the virtues of altar boys patron St John Berchmans and advised them to attend the Holy Mass devoutly serving at the altar.  He urged the altar boys to join the seminary to become a priest at least one amongst them every year.

 

 

The local convent superior Sr Vibha urged the altar boys to lead devout life.

Fr Martis welcomed the new altar boys by presenting each one with a rose.

The altar boys animator Dr Sony D’Costa, Kundapur parish vice president Michael Braganza, altar boys president Victor D’Costa, secretary Johnson D’Souza were present on the dais.
