Foundation laid to build new State-run Hospital at Belman

Karkal, 8 Nov 2013: ZP member Supreet Shetty laid foundation for constructing a new state-run hospital at Belman, near here on Thursday November 7.  The hospital will be built at a cost of Rs 1.25 crore. 

 
The Vedic celebrant Sooda Subramanya Bhat performed the religious rites associated with laying the foundation stone at the location. 

 

 
Karkal taluk panchayat member Xavier D’Mello, Belman gram panchayat president Shankar Kundar Sooda, district health and family welfare officer Dr Ramachandra Bayiri, Karkal taluk health officer Dr Krishnanand Shetty, primary health centre medical officer Dr Satish, Belman – Rotary Club president Suryakant Shetty, Lions Club president V K Rao Nandalike,  JCI past president Raghunat Nayak Punaru, village elder Kodimar Vittal Tantri, TP former president Flora Mendonca, civil engineer Ashok Kumar, contractor K B R Infratech representative Manjunat Bhat, gram panchayat members, Asha health workers, hospital staff and office bearers of local social welfare organizations were present.
