District Muslim organizations to stage a protest on Oct 31

Mangalore, 30 Oct 2013 : Urging the Karnataka State Muslim Waqf board to to retrieve the Fatwa against the Melangadi Mosque, the various Muslim organizations of the district will stage a protest in front of the DC office on October 31st said the convener of district Muslim organizations  K Ashraf.

 

 

Addressing the press meet in the hotel woodlands he said that the Fatwa that the Karnataka state Waqf board  issued against the Melangadi Mosque is against the Muslim community of the district. This is an attempt to split the Muslim community of the district and condemning this all the Muslim organizations of the district will protest against this.

 

He also said that the Honbl. Minister for health UT Khader is behind this confusion. The Muslim community is hurt by these developments. The minister should apologize for this.

 

The Muslim community leaders Sahul Hameed, Abdul Hameed Kudroli, Mhemmed Haneef, Farooq Ullal and others were present at the occasion.
