Udupi, 27 Oct 2013: One can capture clear pictures with latest cameras. The skills in handling lenses including zoom in latest cameras is what makes a professional cameraman/photographer. The photography has seen significant innovations in the recent past, said veteran photographer Paul Aranha of Shirva.
Paul was delivering a talk on Photography before and now, that was organized by Rotary Club International (RCI) – Shirva, at the local village council office auditorium here on Friday October 25.
Paul explained the hardships of group pictures of students taken using traditional cameras that required covering the photographer with black cloth, and the labor in cleaning the negative to print in the glossy paper. He also shared his photography experience that he had accumulated while working in Kuwait for 30 years. He stressed that digital cameras indeed revolutionalized the photography, stressed Paul.
RCI – Shirva president Leo Noronha presided the function and welcomed the gathering. The secretary Raghupati Ithal proposed vote of thanks.
