Udupi: NSS Annual Special Camp of Hindu PU College, Shirva Inaugurated

Udupi, 10 Oct 2013: Shirva gram panchayat president Hasanabba Shaikh inaugurated annual NSS special camp of Hindu PU College, Shirva, near here during the function held at Durgaparameshwari Higher Primary School, Bantakal, near here on Wednesday October 9.
Vidhyavardaka Sangh correspondent V Subbaiah Hegde presided the function here on Wednesday morning.
Durgaparameshwari temple managing trustee Belpatre Vishwanat Nayak, the school governing council chairman M Balakrishna Nayak were the chief guests of the occasion.
Speaking on the occasion, Hindu PU College principal and camp director Rajgopal appealed to the students to actively partake in the special camp.
Durgaparameshwari Higher Primary School headmaster N Radhakrishna Prabhu conveyed best wishes.
The retired teacher Varadaraya Nayak, Sadanand Prabhu, Shirva gram panchayat member K R Patkar, teachers Shyam Bhat and G R Jagdish were present on the occasion.
The NSS camp officer Vishnu Bhat welcomed the gathering. The students’ union leader Suraksha compered the programme. The student leader Adarsh Patkar proposed vote of thanks.
