K’pur: Gandhi Jayanti Celebrated in Congress Office

Kundapur, 2 Oct 2013: The traitors and fascists forces who were after the power killed Mahatma Gandhi who pronounced peace among countrymen and in mankind.  Although, Gandhiji is no more, his ideologies are ever prevalent, said Kundapur block Congress president Malyady Shivaram Shetty.

 

Shetty was speaking during the birth anniversary celebration of Mahatma Gandhi and Lalbahadur Shastry, at Congress office, here on Wednesday October 2.

 

 

 ZP former member Devanand Shetty said that the ideologies of Gandhiji are essential at the days of global terrorism and escalating violence in order to reform the extremists, said Devanand.

 

The retired teacher Raghuram said that Mahatma Gandhi was truly the father of nation.

 

The veteran congressmen G Ramakrishna Rao, S Dinakar Shetty, Jagdish Nayak, Jacob D’ Souza, Haroon Saheb, Devaki Sannayya, Jyoti Putran, Revati Shetty, Vani Shetty, Nagaraj Nayak, Gangadhar Shetty, Shivanand K, Divakar Shetty, Anand Sarang, Dayanand, Vittal Kundar, Venkatesh Gulwady, Vijay Poojary, Ramavati Karvi, Vijayachandra, Sridar Seregar, Sandeep Poojary, Chandrashekar Karvi, town Congress president Ganesh Seregar, vice president Satish Ganiga, Chandrashekar Shetty, Dharmaprakash and others were present on the occasion.
