College names management block after Pope John Paul II
Mangalore, 07 Sep 2013: Popularity and ideals of Pope John Paul II has spurred management of Rosario College to name its new management block after him. T C Shivashankara Murthy, vice-chancellor of Mangalore University will inaugurate the John Paul II Block, the extension of Rosario College of Management Studies on September 11. Rt Rev Aloysius Paul D’Souza, Bishop of Mangalore will bless the new block on this occasion.
Rev J B Crasta, correspondent of the college said the John Paul II block is a feather in the cap of Rosario College, which has been put up an estimated cost of Rs 1.5-crore. It includes spacious classrooms, conference hall, extensive library, NSS room, games room, examination room and an office room. Infrastructure will cater to needs of increasing number of students and to create a conducive atmosphere for study and extra-curricular activities.
