Lions Club – Belman Honors Top Teacher Award Recipents

Karkal, 04 Sep, 2013 : Vardaman award recipient Dr B Janardhan Bhat, principal of Government Pre-University College, Belman, Udupi district top teacher award winner Venkatakarishna Rao, headmaster of Mahalingeshwar Higher Primary School, Nandalike and Nitte cluster retired CRP Karunakar Poojary were felicitated during Guruvandana programme, held at Government Pre-University College, Belman, here on Tuesday September 3.  The Guruvandana programme was organized jointly by Lions Club and Lioness Club, Belman.

 

 

Kodimar Vittal Tantri, senior teacher of M V Shastry High School, Inna felicitated Dr B Janardhan, Venkatakrishna and Rajendra and Karunakar, on behalf of Lions Club.  

 

Rotary Club – Belman president Suryakant Shetty, state award winner teacher Laxmikant Bhat, retired principal Jayant Rao, Nandalike cluster CRP Panduranga Shetty, Punarukare School headmaster Devdas Hebbar, Sujay Jatanna, Lioness Club president Chaitra Kiran Chowta, entrepreneur Gregory Menezes were the chief guests present.

 

Belman – Lions Club president BV K Rao Nandalike presided the function.

 

Udaya Kumar Shetty Inna explained the significance of Teachers’ Day celebrations. N M Hegde introduced the dignitaries. Lions Club – Belman president V K Rao Nandalike welcomed the gathering.  Sitaram Bhat compered the programme.
