Karkal: Belman Zonal School Teachers Bid Adieu to CRP Karunakar Poojary

Karkal, 25 Aug 2013: Belman zonal school teachers bid adieu to Karunakar Poojary, who was the ideal teacher, served as Community Resource Person (CRP) in Nandalike – Nitte cluster, Belman zone of public instruction department, upon his retirement, during a function held at Nitte Government School auditorium, here on Saturday August 24.

Karkal education block co-ordinating officer Shivanand presided the function and felicitated Karunakar and Vijaya K Poojary couple, by draping the shawl, offered with citation letter, memento and a gold ring.

Shivanand lauded the contributions of Karunakar all through his long service with education department.

 

The taluk physical education superintendent Babu Poojary, Belman zone past education co-ordinator Shailaja Hegde, present education co-ordinator Jayanti Shetty Shirva were the chief guests of the occasion.

Aided School Teachers Association president V K Rao and Veena Kamat read the citation letter.
The Association district secretary Laxmikant Bhat conveyed best wishes to Karunakar.  

Nitte CRP Gretta Rebello, Nandalike CRP Panduranga Shetty, Mundkoor CRP Chandrakant D’Sa, Kalya Government high School head teacher Sumana Bhat, teachers Association secretary Krishna Moily, MLC Krishna Kumar, Pratviraj Ballal, Nitte School headmaster Sanjeev, Karunya K Poojary were present at the dais.

Punarukare School headmaster Devdas Patkar welcomed the gathering.  Kalya School teacher Sudhakar Shenoy compered the programme.  Ambarady School headmaster Satish Shetty proposed vote of thanks.
