Udupi: Insulated Boxes distributed to Fishermen in Taluk

Udupi, 21 Aug 2013 : The taluk fishmongers Association organized the distribution of insulated boxes to their members which were supplied by state fisheries department, during a function held at Pancharatna Paradise auditorium, here recently.

 

 

The taluk fishmongers Association president Baby H Salian presided the programme and distributed the insulated boxes to the members on the occasion.

 

Speaking on the occasion, Baby H Salian said that the state fisheries department has sanctioned 700 insulated boxes to the fishmongers already, and urged the authorities to approve 300 more applications in availing the boxes at the earliest.

 

Udupi and Dakshina Kannada district fisheries marketing Federation president Yashpal A Suvarna, fishmongers Association senior advisor Ramesh Kidiyoor, vice president Appi M Bangera, joint secretary Jayanti Gurudas Bangera, treasurer Jayanti N Kotian, town councilor Narayan P Kundar, and others were present.

 

Prakash Katpady welcomed the gathering.  The Association chief secretary Laxmi Anand proposed vote of thanks.
