Hassan: Jagdish Shettar asserts Goal to defeat Congress in bypolls and General Elections
Hassan, 11 Aug 2013: Our goal is to defeat Congress in the forthcoming elections, said BJP leader and former CM Jagdish Shettar.
Addressing the media persons at the circuit house, here on Sunday August 11 morning, Jagdish said that Congress led state government is losing the trust of people within 3 months of reign, owing to lack of co-ordination. The department officers are not heeding to the commands of CM Siddaramaiah, said Jagdish. It’s a practice to form a co-ordination Committee when a coalition government reigns. In spite of Congress alone is running the government, the formation of co-ordination Committee is meant for limiting CM Siddaramaiah’s power that has adverse effects on governance, said Jagdish.
The programmes that were introduced by the earlier BJP regime are sidelined. The recent budget presented by the Congress-led state government is borrowed from earlier BJP regime. The pact has been made with other political parties, with the objective of defeating Congress in the upcoming bypolls for Lok Sabha and also forthcoming general elections, said Jagdish.
BJP district president B H Renukumar, urban development Authority former president Navile Annappa, Nagesh, Manjunat Sharma and others were present at the press meet.
