Hassan: Renukumar elected BJP District Presi, Uday - Sec.

Hassan, 28 Jul 2013: Renukumar and Uday was elected as BJP district president during the elections held here on Saturday July 27.
Sri Rama Sene president Janekere Hemant Kumar and supporters demanded the elections be held in the presence of B B Shivappa.  The chaos prevailed for a while, BJP leader and election in-charge Vijay Shankar advised the instructed the activists to calm down. 
Meanwhile, Vijay Shankar read the names of 24 aspirants for the new office bearers.

 


Renukumar of Beloor constituency was elected as president and Uday as chief secretary at the occasion.  The victory procession was held in the city streets.


The Urban Development Authority former president Naveele Annappa, former president M S Krishne Gowda, Manjunat Sharma, Punit and others were present at the occasion.
