Hassan: MLA H S Prakash urges Citizens to Drink Boiled Water for Good Health

Hassan, 30 Jun 2013: The local MLA H S Prakash urged the citizens to drink only boiled – lukewarm water, in order to maintain good health.
MLA Prakash was speaking after inaugurating taluk level anti-malaria monthly programme that was held at the joint auspices of office of taluk health officer, office of medical officer, primary health centre – Agile and Government High School, here on Saturday June 29.
He urged the citizens to create health awareness among the children along with their studies.
Speaking on the occasion, the taluk health officer Dr K P Kantaraj said that malaria cases more cited during the onset of monsoon from June to August as these are the months mosquitoes breed on stagnant water. He advised the citizens to be vigilant of mosquitoes breeding spots to avoid malaria, urged Dr K NP Kantaraj.
The district health and family welfare officer Dr Rajgopal, Tattekere gram panchayat member Rangaswamy, Government High School headmaster N S Dinesh, medical officer Dr Puttappa, Ravindra, Ravikumar and others were present at the occasion.
The teacher Muruli welcomed the gathering.
