Public Hand Over Cattle-lifters to Police in Hemavati Nagar

Hassan, 28 Jun 2013 : The general public nabbed cattle-lifters who were trying to steal the cattle at Hemavati Nagar, here on Thursday June 27.
The cattle-lifters numbering 5 to 6 persons arrived in an auto rickshaw and were trying to catch hold of a few cows and tie them to the poles, with the intentions of transporting them in a tempo. Meanwhile, the general public who became suspicious of the cattle-lifters movements, managed to nab 4 persons and handed over to the city police.
The arrested has been identified as Hussein, Farouq, Wasim and Rangayya.
The locals in the past complained that cattle that were wondering in Hemavati Nagar were disappearing overnight and are transported to illegal abattoirs.
