Burglars decamp 2 Offering Boxes of temple

Udupi, 19 May 2013: The burglars decamped 2 offering boxes of Brahmabaidarkala temple, Tenka Yermal, near here on Saturday May 18 night.
The burglars broke open the front door of the temple that is located besides National Highway 66 at Tenka Yermal, near here and decamped with 2 offering boxes containing nearly Rs 10,000.
The burglary was come to light when the devotees arrived to offer prayers at the temple, here on Saturday morning.
A local – Yelladadi Shivaprasad Shetty informed the police about the burglary.
The canine squad and fingerprints experts gathered the clue for further probe. Kaup circle inspector Shivanand Valikar and Padubidri sub-inspector Mahadev Shetty visited the spot.
Kaup police registered a case in this regard.
The locals are alarmed over rising cases of theft and burglaries in the locality.
Shivanand urged the locals to inform the suspicious movements of outsiders in their locality.
